The Windrider Inn is located near the downtown area of The Dalles on the corner of West 4th and Liberty St. The Dalles is 85 miles east of Portland, Oregon, on I-84 in the center of the best windsurfing sites in the Columbia River Gorge. To the west are Rowena, Doug's Beach, Spring Creek Fish Hatchery and Viento State Park. To the east we have Celilo, Avery, Maryhill, The Wall, Rufus, Roosevelt and 3 Mile Canyon.
